Situated in the far northern side of Gorkha, Tsum Valley is one of the hidden gems of Nepal. The Tsum Valley Trek trail started recently in 2008. Thus, remains untouched by modernization in its natural as well as cultural beauty.

The trek commences from Soti Khola and the first half of the trek leads through the Budhi Gandaki Valley. Then, you walk along the mix paths of dense forest, terraced fields, and hilly villages. As you leave the main Manaslu trail towards Tsum Valley you will get feeling of entering into a truly hidden valley. Magnificent Boudha Himal and Himchuli (west), Sringi Himal (north), and Ganesh Himal (south) surround this beautiful valley.

During this wonderful Tsum Valley Trek, you can see the colorful prayer flags, mani walls, monasteries, and stupas. You will also visit Rachen Gompa during your trek. The people here are mostly of Tibetan origin who speak their own unique dialect. All in all, Tsum Valley is a well-preserved destination; which offers to experience rich Buddhist culture along with spectacular mountain views.

Likewise, if you want to do longer version, then you can combine Tsum Valley Trek with Manaslu Circuit Trek. You can complete this trek without camping arrangements; as you will find enough teahouses for food and accommodation facilities during the trek.
