Tour Overview

Everest Panorama (View) Trekking is a short and easy trek offering superb view of the world’s highest peaks, including Everest, Lhotse, Thamserku, Ama Dablam and many other snowy peaks. This is an ideal trek for those not desirous of walking all the way to Everest base camp or those not having longer holiday. This trek offers clssic, up close views of Everest and other Khumbu mountains. Besides, Everest Panorama (View) trekking gives cultural insight into the lives of the legendary Sherpas of the Everest region.

Everest Panorama (View) trekking begins after 35 minutes mountain flgiht to Lukla. After you land at Lukla airstrip your trekking begins to Phakding, where you spend the first night at a local tea house (lodge) following Dudha Koshi River. Next day you walk through forest of rhododendron and magnolia and reach to Namche, a bustling bazaar (market), a junction for trekkers. Here, you will spend one more extra day at Namche for acclimatization. After a day of acclimatization you will visit the traditional villages of Khumjung set against the incredible mountain scenery. Then, you will trek further to Tengboche which is the final Destinations of Everest Panorama (View) trekking. At Tengboche you will visit the famous Buddhist monastery and soak up the atmosphere being immersed into views of the very beautiful mountain- Ama Dablam.

Everest Panorama (View) trekking is fit for all age group trekkers as you have to reach at maximum altitude of 3860m and this is why it is considered easy moderate trekking of Everest region. After visitng Tengboche we walk downhill via Namche and reach to Lukla. Next day we catch early flight to Kathmandu.

The highlights of the trek are -the majestic Himalayan Mountains, the villages, the isolated monasteries and experiencing Sherpa culture and lifestyle. In conclusion, we can say this trek offers an opportunity to experience the best mountain views, ethnic culture, nature and the Sherpa hospitality!!

Detail Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival Kathmandu & transfer to hotel.

Day 02: Pre-trip meeting and Sightseeing around Kathmandu Valley. Overnight at hotel

Day 03: Fly to Lukla and trek to Phakding (2650m, 3 hrs)

Day 04: Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3440 m, 6hrs)

Day 05: Rest at Namche Bazaar for acclimatization

Day 06: Trek from Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3867 m, 5 hrs)

Day 07: Trek from Tengboche to Khumjung Village (3789m)

Day 08: Trek from Khumjung Village to Phakding (2652m)

Day 09: Trek from Phakding to Lukla

Day 10: Fly Lukla to Kathmandu

Day 11: Final departure
