In the season you can also find travelers everywhere. Langtang Valley Trek Route

Your route begin by arriving in Kathmandu. When you land at the airport, our representatives will approach you and will take to our designated hotel. In Day1 we will be well familiar with one another and will decide in advance and will prepare for the upcoming trek. We also visits several UNESCO sites in Kathmandu.

We will leave Kathmandu early for the seven-hour journey to the Shyabru Besi. The road climbs which is high over ridges as it leaves the Kathmandu Valley, and provides impressive views for the Annapurna Himalayas in the west, to Manaslu, Ganesh Himal and the peaks for the Langtang region ahead. We also drive through the bustling town of Trisuli before climbing downy at the  Dunche and the Langtang National Park. After the town of Dunche it is another hour downhill at Syabru Besi.

Then we will acclimatize at Lama Hotel after which we will climb through forest, with occasional glimpses of Langtang Lirung which is between the trees. At Ghoda Tabela (3,000 m. / 9,842 ft) the trail will emerges from the forest and the mountains will loom at  either side of the valley. Once there was a Tibetan resettlement project here, but now it is a Nepal Army post with no residence. The trail will continues to climb gently and the valley widens, passing a few temporary settlements which is used by herders who bring their livestock to graze in the high pastures during the summer. You will also most possibly see a glimpse of your first yak if you haven’t already.

From Mundu, the trail also climbs gradually through the yak pastures as the valley opens out further and the views become more extensive and deeper. After crossing several small streams and moraines, the trail also reaches the settlement in Kyangjin. Here there is a small monastery and a government-operated cheese factory, which is a good spot to stock up for lunch and afternoon snacks. As you will arrive through lunchtime there is time to take it easy in the afternoon or explore the area.

You will also see the spectacular ice faces and tumbling glaciers of Langtang Lirung or ascend Kyangjin Ri which is directly behind the village, for a breath-taking panorama for the Langtang peaks.

From Kyangjin retrace at the route you followed up the valley which is followed by the Langtang Khola to Mundu village and at the Ghora Tabela. The descent will certainly be quicker than the ascent. After lunch, continue the steep descent down to the  Lama Hotel

Continue retracing your steps at the Syabru Besi, enjoying the quiet forest hills. If you are feeling fit, take the spectacular route through Rimche through Sherpa Gaon to Syabru Besi; it will take much longer to reach the ultimate destination, but it’s a stunning tour.

We will later depart for Kathmandu and Time to say farewell to Nepal. Enjoy your last moments in Kathmandu with a decent breakfast in a café, a quick city stroll, and do souvenir shopping. A representative will meet you at your hotel and drive you to the airport for your return flight home.

I did the Lang Tang valley trek from 23rd.02.2024

Views were absolutely gorgeous, with plenty of photos and nice locals on the way. Guides very helpful and handy, the air up there is totally something else.
I had Bishnu Thakuri as my guide and he was just amazingly great.
My 2016 ankle injury resurfaced and l almost gave up but he encouraged me to try my best, carried my bags and was patient with me when walking slowly and we took several breaks.
He was well versed with the area and knew which place was closed or open according to season.

I can’t thank Bishnu enough for helping me persevere through the trek and in turn l got amazing views and experience.
Thank you Bishnu
