Overview
Catching a glimpse of the world’s highest mountain- Everest; which is a lifelong dream for many trekkers. Not everyone has a long holiday thus it is not possible for them to visit the Everest region. Considering the interest and time frame, Nepal Hiking Adventure has specially designed Everest Mini Trek only for those trekkers. This is a short trek and no need to walk much higher altitude to get a glimpse of Mt. Everest and many other peaks. You can explore the beautiful settlements of legendary Sherpa, their traditional lifestyle and Buddhist culture of the Everest region.
Everest Mini trekking begins after Kathmandu City Tour then you take an exciting mountain flight to Lukla. From Lukla, we begin our trek along the Dudh Koshi River until we reach Namche Bazaar. Namche is a trekkers’ hub and lively town in Everest region. The ridge above Namche offers an extraordinary view of Everest and other mountains of Khumbu.
There are many amazing Buddhist stupas and monasteries that come across along the route; also see the fluttering of bright colorful Buddhist prayer flags in the air of suspension bridges.
Tou woke up early and slowly ascend towards Syangboche (3900 m) and Khumjung (3790 m) and back to Namche Bazaar. It helps you to avoid altitude sickness as you are trekking above 3000m.
From Namche, you trek to the land of the largest monastery of Khumbu i.e Tengboche monastery. From Tengboche, you enjoy an up-close view of Mt. Everest, Ama Dablam, and other peaks. The beautiful view of the Everest mountain range is sure to live in your hearts forever. We culminate our Everest Mini trek at Tengboche; then return to Lukla via Namche. Finally, we catch the flight back to Kathmandu or extend your trek to Everest Panorama Trek or Everest Heli Trek.
