Overall, it’s challenging but rewarding, scenic but accessible, and an adventure I’ll remember forever.

I recently completed the Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) 5 Days Trek, and I have to say, it was an unforgettable experience. Even though it’s one of the shorter treks in the region, every step offered breathtaking views of the Himalayas. Seeing Mount Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, and Machhapuchhre up close was truly magical, it feels like you’re standing inside a postcard! The trek is moderately challenging, with a few steep ascents, but it’s very doable if you’re reasonably fit. I loved passing through the rhododendron and forests, and the villages people along the trail, they were so welcoming. Their smiles and warm hospitality made the journey even more special. The teahouse accommodations were basic but comfortable, and I really enjoyed tasting authentic Nepali food like Dal Bhat after long trekking days. One of my favorite highlights was soaking in the hot springs at Jhinu Danda, a perfect way to relax after a day of hiking. Even though it’s just 5 days, the trek gives a complete Himalayan experience, from stunning mountain views to rich culture and local cuisine. For anyone short on time but wanting a Himalayan adventure, the ABC 5 Days trek is perfect. Overall, it’s challenging but rewarding, scenic but accessible, and an adventure I’ll remember forever.
