Please read the following Terms and Conditions carefully before you book the trip with us.

Reservation & Confirmation

Individuals or private groups accepting Nepal Hiking Adventure’s proposed trekking or any other tours /activities proposal can make a reservation by filling its submission form or by providing a reservation request. Reservation will be confirmed only after a 20% deposit of the total amount is made through a bank transfer as per the company policy. 80% remaining amount has to be settled to Nepal Hiking Adventure on your arrival in Kathmandu before the trip begins. For Bhutan, Tibet or India trips, 100% payment should be made within 60 days prior to the trip starting date.

 For travels agencies, bank transfer should be made 30 days prior to the trip departure.

How to pay your deposit?

You can make payment either by bank transfer, western union, money grams, or credit card. Please use any means of transfer according to your convenience.

Note: Bank service charge should be paid by the clients themselves at the time of bank transfer

If you pay by credit card we only accept Master Card and Visa Card, and 4% extra will be levied to you as credit card processing fee.

(B) By Credit Card

 We also accept Visa and Master Visa card, but no personal checks. Please ask us for the credit card authorization form. We will send you the form after you make sure that mode of payment will be made by credit card.

Last Minute Booking

We accept last minute booking (07 days prior to the tour starting date, ONLY available for Nepal). However, we do not accept the Last Minute Booking for any Bhutan, India, and Tibet trips

Refund Policy
Having paid the full amount of any trip, you are entitled to incur refund in case if you want to cancel your trip. Still, the cancellation charge is invoiced to you. Written notification of your cancellation should be made to cancel any trip. Nevertheless, you are imposed cancellation charge as follows

  • 60 days or more deposit retained
  • 41 – 59 days before departure 50%
  • 29 – 40 days before departure 75%
  • 01 – 28 days before departure 100%

But, once your trip has begun and if you leave a trip for any reason whatsoever, either voluntarily or involuntarily, Nepal Hiking Adventure will make no refunds for any meals, accommodations, airfares or services used or not used.

Price Charges

We quote the prices of our trips as per the current market situation. In case, there are any changes in airfare, exchange rate or the inflation rate, we reserve the right to alter our tariff accordingly. We also reserve the right to demand surcharges for the costs caused by unforeseen events.

Delay & Changes

Nepal Hiking Adventure will not be held responsible for any delays or changes in itineraries caused by any unforeseen events, inaccuracy or other circumstances such as delayed flight (domestic or international), road blockade, etc. The company and its field staffs reserve the right to make changes to the itinerary if it deems necessary

Travel Insurance

Travelers confirming the trip with Nepal Hiking Adventure should purchase a comprehensive travel insurance package that covers medical, helicopter evacuation, personal accident, trip cancellation, luggage is stolen, etc. This is strongly suggested to all our valued clients.

Flight Cancellation Policy

Flight bookings are completely non-refundable and transferable. Once the air tickets for Kathmandu-Lhasa-Kathmandu or Kathmandu-Paro-Kathmandu are issued, they are non-refundable and non-transferable. In case of the cancellation of the tour, there shall be no refund against the air tickets once issued.
