Get ready for a scenic drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara, a beautiful lakeside town surrounded by the majestic Annapurna Mountains. It's about a 7-8 hour journey covering 200 kilometers. As you wind through the countryside, be amazed by the breathtaking mountain views, terraced fields, and charming villages. Sit back and relax on a comfortable tourist bus, taking in the stunning scenery and experiencing the vibrant Nepali culture.

On your third day trekking to Annapurna Base Camp, you will have a mix of driving and hiking. So, start your day with a relaxing breakfast in Pokhara. Then, hop in a private car for a 3-hour drive to Nayapul, where your trek begins. Starting from Nayapul, you walk alongside the Modi Khola River. At first, you will walk through rice fields and villages, getting a glimpse of everyday Nepali life. As you ascend, the landscape transforms into vibrant forests, rich with rhododendron trees and bamboo. Your goal for the day is Chomrong, a charming Gurung village at 2,170 meters. The hike there is a bit challenging with some steep parts, but the amazing views of Annapurna South and Machhapuchhre (Fishtail Peak) make it totally worth it. When you reach Chomrong, you can explore the village, meet the friendly locals, and treat yourself to local village foods and drinks.

On your fourth day trekking to Annapurna Base Camp, you will have a tough climb to Dovan. Start with a filling breakfast at your teahouse in Chomrong. Next, you'll embark on a steep trek through thick forests adorned with blooming rhododendrons and towering bamboo. The trail to Dovan isn't long, but you will experience significant altitude gain. As you climb, the views of Annapurna South and Machhapuchhre (Fishtail Peak) get even more stunning. Enjoying the glimpses of traditional Gurung villages nestled on the mountainside, you will reach Dovan, a small village at 2,520 meters.

On your fifth and final day trekking to Annapurna Base Camp, you will reach the top. Start with a hearty breakfast at your teahouse in Dovan. Then, you'll have a relatively short but steep climb through forests and open meadows. As you climb, the mountain views get even more amazing. You'll find yourself encircled by the majestic peaks of Annapurna I, II, III, IV, South, Machhapuchhre (Fishtail Peak), and Hiunchuli. The view is absolutely awe-inspiring. Your goal for the day is Annapurna Base Camp, at 4,130 meters. The base camp has a wider view of the vast Annapurna massif and the nearby glaciers. Reaching the base camp is a huge achievement in your trekking adventure. Hence, take some time to enjoy the amazing scenery and celebrate your success. You can also explore the nearby glacial moraine or just relax and enjoy the peacefulness of the high-altitude environment.

As you head back down, the views of the Annapurna massif and surrounding mountains start to disappear slowly. You will pass through traditional Gurung villages, getting a glimpse of how the locals live and finally reach Bamboo, a small village at 2,310 meters. The village is peaceful and a nice break from the high-altitude environment.

Begin your day seventh with a gradual descent through lush forests and terraced rice fields. The trail to Jhinu Danda provides breathtaking vistas of the Modi Khola River and the majestic mountains. As you descend, the landscape becomes more verdant and the climate warmer. After a long 6-7 hour walk, you arrive at Jhinu Danda (1,740 m). Upon reaching Jhinu Danda, you will have the opportunity to soak in the hot springs, relax in the peaceful surroundings, and enjoy the local cuisine.

On your last day in the Annapurna Region, you will finish the short hike from Jhinu Danda to Syauli Bazar. Then, after a 2-hour drive, you arrive in Pokhara.
