Detail Itinerary

Our adventure to the Annapurna Base Camp begins from Pokhara after fulfilling breakfast in the hotel. In Pokhara, you will see why this place is a paradise or thrill seekers, with its mass of exciting activities such as bungee- jumping, zip-lining and white water rafting. Moreover, Pokhara is also the starting point of our journey to the Annapurna Base Camp.

After meeting our driver, we’ll go on a scenic drive to Nayapul, a small village where we’ll take a short walk to Birethati to obtain our trekking permits. From here, our journey continues on foot, and we’ll kick off our trek by crossing soothing suspension bridges, admiring glistening waterfalls, and crossing hilly meadows ornamented with grazing yaks and tended to Gurung farmers cultivating buckwheat and millet.

As we keep going at Ghandruk we’ll start to enjoy the stunning panoramas of snowcapped peaks. Ghandruk is a charming village on a hillside where the warm hospitality of the Gurung people awaits us. Our accommodation for the night will be at one of the local teahouses or lodges. You’ll savor the delicious taste of home-cooked meals and enjoy a cozy place to rest. As the sun sets over Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, and the fishtail-shaped peak, you can unwind with a hot cup of tea and marvel at the breathtaking views. In the evening, we may explore the Gurung museum and take a leisurely stroll around the village to soak in the Himalayan scenario.

After enjoying a hearty breakfast, we will start our trek by climbing for about an hour up to Kimrung Danda. On the way, we will be treated to breathtaking views of some of the most stunning mountains in the Annapurna range, including Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Fishtail Mountain (Machhapuchhre) and Ganggapurna.

Upon reaching the peak of Kimrung danda, we will descend steeply towards the Kimrong Khola, a small and tranquil river that courses through the area. Crossing the river, we will make a challenging ascent to Chere Danda, taking a brief pause at the summit to relish the captivating views before descending and continuing on a gentle trail towards Chhomrong, a charming and traditional village located in the foothills of the towering Annapurna range.

Now, we will go on a downward trek from Chhomrong and cross a suspension bridge over the Chhomrong Khola before following the trail to Sinuwa. The trail ahead will lead us through dense, verdant forests and by glistening waterfalls that create a soothing soundtrack for the journey. As we continue at Sinuwa, we’ll come across an array of plant species, including rhododendrons, ferns and orchids, which add to the area’s natural beauty. As we approach the ridgeline of Sinuwa, we’ll be treated to a stunning vista of the mountain ranges. The tea house in which we will be staying boasts breathtaking views of the majestic mountains.

After starting our trek early in the morning, we will follow the trail from Sinuwa towards Deurali. The trail goes through forests, a home to a variety of flora and fauna, including rhododendron trees, oak trees, and various species of birds, monkeys, and deer and several small streams. You will pass through Bamboo, a small village located on the Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) Trek in Nepal. While in Bamboo, visitors can take a stroll through the bamboo forests, which offer a peaceful environment, away from the hustle and bustle of city life.

Then you will pass through Dovan, a peaceful and idyllic village, surrounded by lush forests and magnificent mountains, making it an excellent destination for trekkers seeking natural beauty, cultural experiences and adventure activities and upon reaching the Himalayas at last, rest for the tomorrow's trek to ABC.

Today is the highlight of our Annapurna Base Camp Trek as we visit two base camps in just a few hours. We will trek across glacial moraines and though small birch forests to reach the Annapurna Sanctuary. Soon we will reach at Machhapuchhre Base Camp, we will be awestruck by the rising summits of Annapurna I, Annapurna II, Annapurna South and Hiunchuli. But the best is yet to come as we trek a few hours and climb a few hundred meters to reach our ultimate goal- Annapurna Base Camp. Here, the panoramic views of the Annapurna massif widening across 50 kilometers are simply breathtaking.

We will have plenty of time to soak in the beauty and take photographs. Later, we will settle into our lodge, enjoy a hot meal and retire for the night.

We’ll enjoy lush vegetation, bamboo forests, small streams, and waterfalls along the way. After several hours of trekking, we’ll reach the small and peaceful settlement of Bamboo, where we’ll rest in a cozy lodge, have a warm meal, and settle in for the night.

Today, we will continue our descent from Bamboo towards Jhinu Danda. The trail will take us through dense bamboo and rhododendron forests, with occasional glimpses of the snow-capped peaks above. We’ll cross several bridges over the Modi Khola River, and pass through the charming small settlements along the way.

After a few hours of trekking, we’ll reach Jhinu Danda, a beautiful village famous for its natural hot springs. We can take a refreshing dip in the pools and relax our tires muscles, enjoying the splendid mountain views in the distance. Later, we’ll relax in our lodge in Jhinu Danda, where we’ll have dinner and spend the night reflecting on the unbelievable journey we’ve had in the heart of the Annapurna region.

On our last day of the Annapurna Base Camp Trek, we’ll bid farewell to Jhinu Danda and make our way towards Nayapul, the starting point of our trek. We’ll follow the Modi Khola River downstream, passing through small villages and terraced farmland along the way. After several hours of trekking, we’ll reach Nayapul, where our trek comes to an end.

On a vehicle, we’ll drive to the beautiful lakeside city of Pokhara, where we can rest, relax, and reflect on the incredible journey we’ve just completed. In Pokhara, we can explore the city’s many attractions, such as Phewa Lake, World Peace Pagoda, Bindhyabasini temple or the International Mountain Museum. We’ll celebrate our successful trek with a delicious meal and perhaps some souvenir shopping before retiring for the night.
