Namo Buddha-Phulchowki trekking is named after the Namo Buddha stupa, one of the holiest Buddhist pilgrimage sites in Nepal. Phulchowki is the name of one of the famous Hindu goddess. Many Hindus and Buddhists make their pilgrimage tour to both the sites which are also the best viewpoints to see some of the world's highest Himalayan peaks. In addition, this short trekking highlights local cultures and beauty of nature.

The highest elevation of this trek is Phulchowki ridge at 2760m encircling the Kathmandu valley. Namo Buddha-Phulchowki trekking trail offers an opportunity to discover 64 species of birds and over 100 species of flowering trees including rhododendron and shrubs. The trail steep on some corners passes through the highest elevation at Phulchowki and meanders gently through the deciduous forests. From the top of Phulcohowki a beautiful landscape of Kathmandu valley, stunning glimpse of gorgeous white capped peaks and several green hills with typical Nepalese villages can be seen on a clear weather.
