Ghandruk Cultural Trekking is short and easy in terms of distance covered and duration consumed in the Annapurna region. The name of this trek is tagged after Ghandruk village famous for one of the ethnic people of Nepal whose rich culture and hospitality is wonderful and worth exploring. This short trek provides a good introduction into hill trek of Nepal for the first time visitors and family with children. Besides, it provides some wonderful close up views of Dhaulagiri (8167m) , Annapurna I (8091M),Annapurna south (7219m) , Machhapuchhre (Holy mountain or Fishtail , 6993m), Annapurna II, Annapurna III ,Annapurna IV , Hinchuli and Manaslu ranges.. An interesting four days trekking allow you an insight into culture, tradition and lifestyle of the hill people.

We begin Ghandruk heritage trek from Pokhara driving 2 hours to Nayapul, trailhead. As you hike to Ghandruk Village, the spectacular snow- capped towering mountains is seen just before your eyes. Here, at the Ghandruk village you can explore the traditional slated houses, a museum and meet the friendly and welcoming Gurung people. After spending a night at the village we head for another popular trekking Destinations- Jhinu Danda where you can take a bath in the natural hot spring. It gives you a complete relief to your physical tiredness and relaxation.

After Jhinu Danda we continue our walk down to Tolka and Dhampus, both are popular smaller villages inhabited by Gurung ethnic people. From Tolka you can enjoy the views of Himalayan Mountain range. Dhampus is regarded as the gateway to Annapurna Conservation Area. It also serves as one of the main entry points to the Annapurna Base Camp and other trekking trails in the Annapurna Region. Finally, we end our trekking at Phedi and then drive to Pokhara. It takes 15-20 minutes drive from Phedi to Pokhara. In the late afternoon we enjoy boating on Fewa Lake..

Day 01: Arrival Kathmandu

Day 02: Kathmandu sightseeing & trek preparation day

Day 03: Drive to Pokhara - (827m) 7 hrs

Day 04: Drive from Pokhara to Nayapul (1 ½ hrs) & trek to Ghandruk (1940m) O/N at lodge

Day 05: Trek to Jhinu Danda (Hot Spring, 1780m, 6/7hrs walking) take a bath at hot spring

Day 06: Trek from Jhinu to Tolka (1700m, 4/5 hrs walking) via Landruk O/N at lodge

Day 07: Trek to Dhampus (1650m, 4hrs) via Pitam Deurali (2100m) & Pothana O/N at lodge

Day 08: Trek to Phedi (4hrs walking) and then drive back to Pokhara O/N at hotel

Day 09: Drive Pokhara to Kathmandu & transfer to hotel

Day 10: Transfer to airport for final departure
